Daily Note

PM(1)- Was up late studying for an exam so slept in a little bit and moved the double to noon. Left side is still tight but if I hadn't had stuff like this happen before I probably wouldn't have done anything. Felt decent on the run, and then headed to see Jim after. Said my intuition was right and it is a tight piriformis. Rapid released it, physically loosened the muscle, and had me nerve floss. Hoping that a few days of being proactive will help with the race.

PM(2)- 8K XC course fartlek w/ Jaime. 2:00/1:00 until 5K and then we took the 1:00 rest standing and then did a hard K from 5K-6K on the course. Then after that we resumed 2:00/1:00. The K is a little long, so ended up hitting .64 in 2:55. Definitely didn't feel great after doing that and averaged around 5:00ish and suffered through the rest of the "on's". It was still a good workout considering the heat and the tight piriformis. Emphasized relaxing my form as much as possible in preparation for Louisville this weekend. Can't waste any energy at all mid race considering what the goal is
