My fastest time on this course out of 24! races here. Started off in 5:36 and finished in 5:33 with a 5:4X in the middle (all gravel, 180 turnaround, the hill). Was 7th plcae and ~7s back at mile 1 from pack of six. Caught Mihai+1 HSer with 0.75 to go, then caught Alex+2 HSers with 0.25 to go, I was slowly closing on Daryl but he got me by ~8 seconds. I wasnt sure anybody was going to come back to me but happy they did, felt good, last time I ran 17:29 here I went under 17 on a road 5k so hopefully im in decent shape
