AM - Core and pushups. PM - 3 mile warmup. 5x1000m with a 3:00 jog recovery on the outdoor track (4.9 miles). 2.1 mile cool down. Pushups, rolling, and stretching after. Splits: 3:05, 3:02, 3:00, 2:56, 2:48. This workout went much better than I thought it would. My legs felt fine going into it, but I thought the wind would really kill the times. The wind was still pretty tough since we had to workout separate from each other, but since I expected it to be extremely tough, it wasn't that bad. I honestly felt better as this workout went along as well. When I was pushing a bit harder on the last two, I found them much easier to get through than the first few. Today confirmed that I still have my fitness from early February in me, I just need to be careful and time it right.
