AM - 3 mile warmup. 3x1000m on the outdoor track with a 3:00 jog recovery (2.7 miles). 4.3 mile cool down. Set of pushups before. Rolling and stretching after. Splits: 3:16, 3:10, 3:08. I feel as though this went well. The times are obviously nothing flashy, but I was very pleased with how easy they felt. Definitely had 5 in me at a fast pace, but I know too much about myself now and doing all that my first hard effort back since Boston 4 weeks ago would not have been smart. My hamstrings and calves need to be re-adapted back in these workouts and today did the job. I just want to take the next logical step at this point in time. PM - Core and pushups. Also went for a walk and don't have any tightness anywhere luckily.
