Daily Note

AM: 2 mile shakeout nice and easy. Nervous about my stomach today hoping I don't have to take a shit mid-race. An update will be posted later about my stomach. PM: 3mi WU, 4mi race, 5mi CD. 14 on day. Good news, I did not have to take a shit during the race so that is a complete win. Legs felt tired throughout the whole race, not insanely tired to start but I could feel some fatigue build and it really hit mile 4. Unlike last year, around halfway through lap 2 I decided to just keep passing guys and not get complacent which was my main problem last year. To take away from this race today is to learn how to finish strong in the last 1.5 miles and to keep passing guys. Navy blue and white uniforms, passing those. To close, I was 21:24 today, last year I was 22:56 so definitely a huge step in the right direction. Good shit today guys.
