3mi easy, 6mi tempo slightly over 6:30 pace (6:26, 26, 21, 37, 37, 36). Tempo with fresher legs is pretty challenging right now. Legs want to go quite a bit faster but HR can’t keep up and gets too high. Apparently I went a little too fast on the third mile 6:20 and couldn’t keep my HR down after that and then had to slow down a little and HR was borderline too high.
