Very intentionally slow run to maximize recovery, big workout coming on Wednesday. The days of UMSLabor Day are over for me (and possibly also the team), but I still got to sleep in and run north. Just did two Riverbend Trail loops at Fullersburg, nothing crazy. I appreciated the shade, soft surfaces, and the river that did not give me any gold coins. Hit some strides at the end. Last week I started doing some more general strength stuff towards the end so we'll count that as a met goal I guess. Last week I also ate three times at Chick-fil-A (which I just recently learned is spelled "Chick" not "Chik"...) and my other food habits weren't great so this week I'll probably work on my NUTRITION.
