Did 12 minute abs, lunges x5, ped x10, 50 pushups before running. Workout as scheduled with TCLA was 400-800-1200-1200-800-400. These workouts tend to have a lot of rest, 3 or so minutes per rep. I really like running with other people/the community but the workouts themselves aren't great for the training I benefit from. So, today did a tempo before the workout. 4 miles at a park about a mile away. 5:37-36-36-36. Good consistency which was cool! Felt pretty easy, just kept reminding myself to ease up and keep it relaxed. Then a 1 mile jog back, 10-15 minutes waiting til the workout started, and then hit 69-2:26-3:45-3:43-2:24-65. Was fairly windy. Fun day, great to be working out with others and to hit a good one. Cooled down with a bub who ran at SDSU. Nice guy. Nice to be meeting people out here.
