Daily Note

8:45AM: colin was outside dakotah's place, & spencer, sophie, him & i drove to the starrigavan trailhead. mostly cloudy but some splotches of sun. 3,000 feet of gain to the top of the ridge - at 1,600 maybe was the snow line, & at 2,200 we were out of the rainforest, put on snowshoes, & began the out & back ascent on the ridge. whole hike maybe too(K - edit 11/18 - the grammar nazis these days SMH) four hours? incredible time out there. snowshoes are quite possibly a top 1 invention. will absolutely have to buy a pair for myself... it just makes everything outdoors i thought was locked away in the winter totally accessible again. the ridge was incredible. endless snow dumped mountain peaks off in the distance. some sketchy ascent parts where we heavily relied on the crampons were pretty fun. & the company was great.
3PM: soft bullied colin & junk into doing a shakeout with me shortly after getting back. totem park is back open! (partly.) so went there for two laps. getting to run & shoot the shit with spencer & colin together was so fun. made sure to enjoy the moment.
