Weather was effectively perfect, with little wind, low humidity, and mostly sunny. As this is backlogging, I forgot my splits but they were roughly 5:39, 5:44, 5:46, 5:50, 5:48, 5:54, 6:00, 6:13. Miles 4 and part of 6 and 7 were uphill and into the wind, which picked up later in the day. Last two miles were a disaster. Lunch did not settle well with me whatsoever, so I was really trying to hold my bowels and stomach together with all my might. Made breathing deeply very challenging. Just not at all what I wanted out of today. Hill sprints after were okay. Effort could have been higher. Not going to let today define me or affect my confidence and outlook. I am much better than this.
