Got the legs moving today, beautiful first day of Fall! After the crazy humid weekend, it felt so cool out. Slept almost 10 hours which felt amazing, taking advantage of sleeping in while I can. Ran north to chance things up a bit and stayed on the soft stuff as much as possible. My legs were feeling antsy running slow, kind of like I forgot how to run, but felt much better going a little quicker. So a little faster than usual for easy miles but felt good! Such a weird feeling but just rolling with it. Ran 8 miles before hopping on the track, very windy so just tried to focus on turnover. Then did 2 miles on my loop before getting back on the track. Fast strides felt fast which was awesome. Then finished up home and immediately did plyos and lifted. Happy with how strong l feel and hope to continue to build this positive momentum into the next several weeks.
