Tempo felt really smooth. 400s felt good to start, then felt like I was running into a wall after 5. Tried to stay consistent, last one split into 200s to finish fast. Working on the leg speed, progress is progress. Sarah has crazy speed so it was hard trying to keep up, but tried to keep a good rhythm. 400s definitely felt like each one was all out, and at that point we were all running different workouts. That was fine, I just don’t feel like workouts like this give me any confidence. I know I’m not in marathon training mode yet, but these workouts feel so short to really get into a good rhythm. Got home from the workout and got my period, what a day. Didn’t double this afternoon, took a nap since I didn’t sleep well last night. Went for a long walk with Chirine, probably more than 3 miles actually. Energy felt good, but didn’t want to overdo it, will probably run tomorrow instead.
