Daily Note

Goal was to make a statement without Thomas. Mission accomplished. Teams probably looked at us and thought we'd kinda suck without "getting carried by Thomas" but we ran pretty well even though only one of us PRed. Stayed patient and raced smart, and I was able to close the 6ish second gap pretty well by tagging along with my boi jhoff from Minooka. I split a 1:57.7 for a lifetime PR which was great, and Aaron, Codo, and PJ all ran great, smart races to get us the dub by three seconds in 7:57. Absolutely incredible feeling to pull this off. Chilled the rest of the meet until the 4x4, which I felt great in. Going into the final 200 I realized how easy it felt and I knew I was gonna pass the two infront of me. I split a 50.93 according to Baganz and Wies had me at 51.7 so splitting the difference gets me like a 51.2 which is a HUUUUGE PR LFG!!! Also ran 3:26 as a relay which is a PR for the year and close to state. Good shit
