Yesterday coach sent me a training plan to follow and it includes days of cross training to help me ease back into running every day. Today was one of those days, and I knew the perc would be closed so I road my bike to practice. I did not wear warm enough gloves or a hat which was a bad move because by the time I was done my fingers and toes were frozen. I basically biked to the high school, then biked for 30 minutes when everyone did their CT’s, and then I biked home after everyone finished stretching. The security guard didn’t let us into the school so I was outside for like 90 minutes straight so my fingers took awhile to thaw out once I got home. According to my calculations I biked close to 10 miles which is pretty good considering the back tire on my bike was out of air. Hyped for a 2ct tomorrow and now it’s time for the Bernstein family tradition of shoving our faces with fondue to ring in the new year.
