fata$$ I don't know the first 2 miles on my course we haven't got out d marked it but the last 4 miles are the same a my normal course so I know from 2.2-6.2 mile mark.... had to do this because dad coud not come out on course too much pain 16:50(2.2) 7:22 3:57(up Mountain)/3:37=7:34 7:23 7:23 6.2=46:33/(7:30.48/mile) 16:14 (2.2) 7:11 4:01(up mountain)/3:41=7:42 7:18 7:14 6.2=45:39/(7:21.77/mile) 12.4=1:32:15/(7:26.37/mile) at the start I went the short way out to cut off .1 so it would end at an even mileage (18.5) so i decided that I was running fairly steady that I would go without the watch and just run like I was and time the last 2 hard. First about .6 miles in it felt like I got stung by a bee on my heel(I am allergic to them and I was afraid it was stuck in my shoe so I stopped to check it out) Well my ADD kicked in majorly (haven't had a problem with it like that in awhile). Bad timing with my ritalin, I had planned to run at 2 so took my medicine accordingly but then when I went to get ready the Virginia Beach Half marathon was on TV, so of course had to watch that for an hour. So i kept trying to get focused on what would be now 2.1 miles I was going an ok pace but slower then before so I would keep trying to pick it up but just couldn't focus so at the 4 mile left mark I turned on the watch and that mile was in 7:13, then I didn't want to see how slow the mountain was going to be this time because the 4:01 last time already blew my mind. So I turned off the watch with 3 miles left to go of 18.5 but good thing I did because at 15.75 miles i got extreme pain...(3rd time mountain??? downhill?? distance???) but I still got to the 2 mile left mark and was going to give a shot at going faster the last 2 miles a chance but the first half mile was 3:53 and I didn't need to see the rest mentally so I just scrapped the watch...... so I did get in 18 miles. plus a half mile walk.......
