Daily Note

I’m coming back, and I hope that you guys can forgive me. I won’t be backlogging more than a week, but will be giving some history in the coming days to sum up what I’ve been up to. (Frolicking in nature and general hobby endurance activities, mainly.) By tomorrow I’ll have up the race details from Saturday, which was a trail 50k and a nice suffer fest (not the beer, which was the main alcohol sponsor of the event to my displeasure as that brand is incredibly mediocre [for an actually good athletic themed beer, try the Roadie, a grapefruit radler by Great Divide]). I’ll also probably go back and log the half marathon in Kilimanjaro, but I’ve forgotten the training that went around that, alas. ________________________________________ I’ve bounced back (to what, admittedly) from the 50k a lot sooner than I thought would ever be possible, and have been thinking more about trying to run under 5 minutes in the FULL MILE. Thankfully I did not enjoy the ride today and have been enjoying running a lot lately, so if we’re lucky I’ll force something within the next week and get injured. Stay tuned! After logging this, I truly already feel like filling a void in my life that I didn’t know I had left. Hoping this #goodvibes continue and not to get over competitive with training again, spiraling back into unhealthy spaces.
