Morning run felt really, really easy, and my legs felt recovered and strong. Got a letter from Coach Oliver to open this morning about my visit this weekend and it made me smile. Workout seemed less scary by considering it as 3-4 sets instead of 6-8, and I was pretty strong on the whole thing, although the second to last one kind of got me when we ran a 3:53 then came back with a 2:53 800. Paces were 3:55-4:00 for the tempo k's, and 2:56-3:00 for the interval 800s. The workout was run tempo k, 60 seconds rest, then run the 800, then 3:00 rest. After the second to last one I ran straight to the bathroom yet again, and came out just at the end of 60 seconds, then I heard franke say to bust when we turn, and so I stuck on all the way out and kind of fell apart on the way back when we turned. I was pretty upset, but had a really good talk with my mom and then Coach Oliver called me later in the evening and he was like hey, you've been sick, that could be related to the stomach stuff, you have a lot going on as a senior, and you are still working out strong. Just take off expectations and enjoy the experience and have fun. Don't focus on the times for coaches or yourself or that each different little thing is your "last time" because you are a senior, just enjoy the moments for the moments. Made me super happy and excited both for my visit, my future, and just running in general.
