Daily Note

as always- super proud of this bad ass team :) y'all make me so proud to be on this team everyday! was really upset when I couldn't pull through with at least one point. I went into this race with the goal of helping the team in any way I can. I wanted to drop out after a mile in- I felt like complete shit and was letting peoples thoughts and opinions get to me and influence my self image. stayed in the race- wouldn't have been able to without coach Kim honestly. I'm proud of myself, but im disappointed with how I let what others think about me as a runner control how I saw myself. I know im tough and I know this race doesn't define me so im not going to let it. you gotta have bad races to have good ones. I know I have been having a lot of bad races lately but im chasing that feeling of a good race again. im ready to start helping my team again and im gonna do everything I can achieve that. definitely ready for outdoor , but SUPER HYPED TO HYPE UP PEOPLE TOMORROW YEAHHHHH:) I should've brought a foam finger or something hahaha. I feel like I've been going through a tough time with running a lot lately, but this team really keeps me coming back. thanks for being great :')
