1500 & 800 @ conferences!!! morning was off to a rough start. woke up late, but shannon and i hustled to the hub for the shakeout and still got there first. then we were defiled and left behind as we tried to be good dickinson students. classic. we did call it tho. then the caf had no oatmeal. had to settle for the cream of rice. kinda bland. not very filling. then realized i forgot my headphones and had to hustle back to buch before getting to the kline. then a dead bird fell out of the tent in the team room. did not share the same level of disgust(?) as the rest of the gang (highly recommend natural history of vertebrates aka roadkill class with prof boback if you'd like to one day have the same reaction. 14/10 class). this kinda stuff is really unlike me but maybe it was for the best because pretty happy with the races today. finally felt like i was in it more mentally and actually racing for the first time all szn. kinda sad track is over bc i feel like i still have more left in me. but onto xc :)) everyone did so amazing today!! it was really special to get to watch and all be able to experience together!! all i can say is "wow, what a meet" GHBD! see ya at piney mountain rd soon (or on biddle for a pod 3 vs 4 dmr???) 14/10
