Breathing pain
Felt better than I did on saturday. Going into it I did not feel any pain while breathing, but as the intensity of the workout picked up, so did the intensity of my breathing. The planned workout was 2X(Mile, 1k, 2X2). I got through the mile and 1k of the first set with only a little bit of pain while breathing. Once I ran the first hard 200 I started to feel the pain more and more. The second hard 200 I really started to feel it. After the recovery from the first set, I thought the pain would subside during the next threshold mile, but it stayed present. During the 1k, I felt it the worst. After about 200 in to it, the pain was very present and I had trouble breathing. Coach and I agreed that we would cut the workout here. I had trouble breathing the entire cooldown and throughout the rest of the afternoon and evening. I iced my ribs and took some advil to help with this. The plan going forward is to just do easy mileage until I can breathe without pain.
