Warming up I noticed some wind, but I didn't think it would impact me too much. In the middle of the third mile, the wind picked up tremendously. However I didn't notice this because the wind was at my back. After I got to the third mile marker, I thought that maybe it was off, but then as I turned the corner it hit me, both literally and figuratively. I was met with a brutal onslaught of wind. At that point I decided to throw times out of the window and just focus on increasing the effort each mile.
