Daily Note

Raccoon Creek part 2. Lots of storms today, so didn't have the chance to travel for a different run spot. Started from the picnic area for a change of scenery and some different hills. Made it past the park office up into the cabin road trail for a while, then turned back the way I came. Serpentine hill was v tough, but pleasantly surprised I kept my composure and steadily made my way up it. Stopped on two occasions to stretch and center the mind. Post-grad is tough...wish I still had running buddies and training plans to keep me motivated, but I'm working on adjusting to this new lawless style, and I'm sure I'll find my way around. Desperately need a gym for lifts though. Again planned on core, hip exercises and such, but did none of the above and ate instead (the struggle)
