Daily Note

2up, 5x600 kickdowns, 2.5 down. The idea was first 400 at 5k race pace, then last 200 at rep to practice some end of race racing. Loggin late, but I believe the 6s went 1:55, :55, :54, :53, :50. First 3 were pretty much spot on, last 2 got a little excited and pushed the first 400 a little too fast (couldn't help it with coach kim and mourer cheering me on and ringing the lap bell), but kept good consistent speed on the rep stuff. Hips are still crickety and bothering me - need some extra stretching and dynam stuff to get them working right, but happy to see I can still put out a good workout despite the body not feeling exactly 100%. Getting really excited for the race!
