Daily Note

It was another workout day (still getting used to the MD lifestyle), and I was completely unmotivated to get out in the cold. It had been in the negatives with windchill all day and our workout was a AP/VO2 session in the neighborhood loop. Luckily, within a few minutes of starting the warmup, running with the people I care about became motivation enough to get through anything. We did a 20min warmup and then got into 5x2:30 on 2:30 off. I was in double pants, so the leg turnover wasn't as smooth as usual, and the pace felt muy quick from the beginning (I definitely still had Monday's workout in my legs). But, by the grace of God and the power of teamwork I was able to hang in for a pretty good workout. Jacob grew a pretty sick snow-goatee, and I sang "Everything" several times in my head, so there was plenty of entertainment. Got in a cool down to the school and a campus loop extension before heading in to stretch. Now just need to recover for Saturday.
