Had to break out the gloves today and in all honesty, I should've gone with my thicker pair. Hands were pretty darn cold and even had to slide them out of the fingers into the interior...a move I normally wouldn't like to make in mid-October. Went with Soggy, Derk, & Kevbot on 8-Ball, followed by a Norway Valley with Soggy, and then solo add-on around the ultimate frisbee course. Decent way to start fall break, especially since it made me realize how thankful I am not to be spending the whole time on campus. Did not appreciate seeing some light snow flurries as we made our way back through town...oof! In all honesty, I'm logging this on Tuesday and don't remember things very well. Remember that is was a very windy one. Cheeks were quite chilled as we crested the hill at the 2.5 mile mark. Getting the wind at our backs led to a slight pace increase from miles four to six, but reined things back in and slowed down a lot while coming back up the hill (7:40). One more mile sub-7 though to finish things off. Afterwards was calf raises, toe tappers, rolling, Waterloo GS x 15, 50 push-ups, 20 squats, 20x core circuit, & 15 side-ups.
