Daily Note

Woke up @9:30 and made sure to get going before ten...barely. Started up the run on updoors track at 9:59. Legs felt incredibly fresh and cardio was in the same boat. Don't know what was up as it usually takes me a couple miles to get going on any morning run, even if it does end up being a bit later. Tibial tendon was a real bother on the turns the first two miles, but it got loosened up nicely as the run progressed. Probably gonna hop on the Woodway this afternoon to avoid excessive turns, and therefore, strain on this tendon. Pael joined me for the final two miles, which slowed the pace down from seven flat to about 7:15, but this is probably for the better to be honest. Afterwards, did calf raises, toe tappers, ankle mobility, rolling, balancing, 50 push-ups, 20 squats, 20x core circuit, and shoes. Second effort began at 3:50pm on my favorite Woodway treadmill. I have a hunch that they're set a bit fast, but no big deal for a simple recovery run such as this. Popped in some headphones and away we went. Listening to the usual alt rock songs helped time go by very quickly. Watching a couple workouts on the downdoors track also helped distract me for the first sixty minutes or so. My legs didn't feel quite as fresh as they did this morning, but still decent. Cardio was smooth again. Settled into a comfortable pace of 7:19 to start and slowly worked things down to 7:03 by the end. Also by the end, my tibial tendon and left foot were becoming a bother, so probably a good time to stop. Gotta make sure I'm careful with all these indoor miles and the additional stress they put on my body. Afterwards was stretching, the Elliot Core Routine, and foot mobility. Good day of miles. Legs have a good tiredness in them. PF7s @ 253.2 miles.
