Chills the Body But Not the Soul

Run

: 15.00 Mile(s) : 01:50:05 : 00:07:20.33 /mile : Brooks Pure Flow 7 #5 : 0.0

Daily Note

Woke up @10:40am. Ran from Skog @3:15pm after the final O-Tones rehearsal. Wanted to get things started up earlier today since the concert was at seven, meaning I had to leave dinner around 6:20...the time I normally arrive. Weather was 11 degrees and 6 mph winds with almost complete cloud cover. Some very brief glimpses of blue sky were nice. Went out of Jeff with Birdo and Soggy (though SchwockV joined us until Bryce). I ended up adding on the last six miles of this run solo. Went up around the quack shack, but then headed back to campus for the final 4.5. Ended up doing a lot of loops around campus because I wanted to make sure I could get inside if I got to cold and some GI distress was present, so I wanted a bathroom close by if things got urgent. Probably not gonna wear the Nike shell or under armour in super cold temps anymore. The last couple of times doing this my core and arms have gotten quite cold. The outside of my left foot was really bothersome throughout the day, but thankfully was non-existent on the run. Hoping to nip this in the bud soon. Might have my parents send up the orthotic. Major focus of today's effort was keeping things feeling easy. For this reason, had some slower pacing, but this was the smart and necessary thing to do. Legs started to feel somewhat fatigued the last couple of miles, but nothing terrible. Cardio was comfortable throughout. After the run, only had time for calf raises, toe tappers, and rolling. PF7s @ 289.6 miles.
