800's: 2:45, 2:46, 2:47, 2:51, 2:47, 2:48 300's: 55, 53, 52, 46 First true VO2 of the season was a shock to the system. Pushed through and held on as best as I could. Air was weird today, could be the allergens, but overall just a solid workout. Legs felt super heavy for the 300's, but I am super happy with the times. If I can hit those splits after 6x800 while feeling like I'm running in water, then I can definitely finish strong in a 1600. Told the guys I was going to open up for the last one, and I did. Felt good. Actually felt almost relaxed and easy. 800's kicked my ass, but the 300's were a blast.
