Daily Note

Top tier shit right here. Woke up, ate a banana and PB, hydrated, did Greco yoga, and got out the door around 9:45. My course was Country, Pine, Deerfield, Chestnut/Telegraph, Everett, Roundabout, North Park and back for 15 miles. It honestly felt pretty good, though by the end it was hard to run. This is understandable because I have never run this far before. It was perfect weather out, I kept my shirt on for the whole time, save for a bit but I put it back on eventually. There was a light drizzle so that was pretty nice. I didn't get hungry or thirsty at all during the run. I also negative split which was pretty cool. The highlight of my run had to be seeing Luke Vajdic with about two miles to go. he graduated in 2017 and was a pretty good thrower. He was running with this dog, but we stopped for a minute to catch up. I haven't seen him in a while and he's the man so it was nice to talk for a bit. I also saw Mac Bressler and The OG Steins which was DANK. I felt pretty good, a bit of soreness here and there, but nothing major. I closed in a 6:16 because I wanted to so that was dope. I had a good stretch, a big meal of steak, mushrooms, and onions, and took a nice long epsom salt bath and I'm gonna do yoga, rolling, and a wall sit later. Great run today, getting hyped for the Half!
PR 1: Longest run ever PR 2: Half Marathon pr of 1:29:18 (estimate based off of the pace I ran for today)
