Medal Hunt

Today was a hard, but good workout. The weather was super nice when I woke up, but was not later in the day. I came out of my AP Gov test and it was 15 degrees cooler and raining. Oof. It stopped raining and the sun came out eventually so that was nice. There were no distance Coaches at practice so we got on the warm up lap and then did our two mile warm up. During the warm up and continuous, I got warm so I knew the workout would be good. I started with having Stu time my 400, which was a bit slower than I wanted at 58 however, I was in flats, I was completely alone, and it was very windy. I had five minutes and then I started on my PPM. I was again alone for this, but I was gonna grind hard. I was going for 5:30s, but the wind was botle and I was more tired than I thought I would be after the 400. First mile I felt good and was able to hit 5:32 with a fair amount of ease, but after that it got a bit more difficult. I got another5:32 and then the third mile hit me. It was kinda hard, much harder than 5:34 should feel but oh well. I finished in a 5:36 mile to give me a time of 22:15I had some more time then I did my second 400, this one felt a lot worse. The wind was still bad, especially in the first 100. I was able to run a 61, so not super fast. I put on my trainers and then cooled down a mile with Brett, then went potty and did another 800 by myself. Today was a solid workout, getting ready to win my last Conference race!
