Daily Note

almost better but still feeling kind of weak. I can feel a mountain of fitness, but it's like I can't access it because of weak legs and a sensitive stomach. I'll probably double tonight a short amount to keep the volume up

PM- much better than AM but still felt a little weak. we will say 90%. I did a good amount of core tonight and some hip exercises and glute bridge, so pretty much like 80% of core stability. Obviously mileage is disappointing for this week, but that was kind of inevitable, and my week of core was kind of a failure since I could only do it 3 times this week. so basically this week was a joke, just like most of adam sandler's films. I don't think I lost anything from this week but it wasn't productive, and even though most of that was out of my control, it makes me want to be better the next week. Even if this week sucked, it kind of helped renew some of my vigor, and has me motivated for the weeks ahead and the season ahead. So it was *sort of* a successful down week in a sense. For the next week and upcoming weeks I would like to take training up a notch. and that doesn't just mean hitting higher mileage, that means getting in the weight room and getting some more supplementary stuff in. It's a long season, so I think I've accomplished the base phase stuff pretty good so far but I want to start work on becoming a stronger runner (not putting on mass, but just working on imbalances and weaknesses) I can accomplish a lot more in these next 4 weeks before school. ALSO it's worth noting that I've been doing pushups several times a week I just haven't logged them in awhile, it's not like I stopped doing them.
