Daily Note

I'm starving

update: I've eaten a lot of junk food and I regret none of it. feels good to let loose and not worry about training for a day and just running.

am- I haven't struggled this hard in awhile. I know the double will be much harder. my legs feel like tight cords of muscle bound together by pure will, it's a matter of just making it through this week, and then I'll finally reach the beautiful down week next week.

PM- fartlek 3x(2:00 on 1:00 off 3:00 on 1:30 off) actually felt decent on this, the only hard parts were the quarter mile up hill portions. 10 min warmup, 21 minute fartlek, 9 min cooldown.
7:09-6:03-5:32-5:32-5:32-6:25- .55 mi. I've been having various pains on my left side these past few days. my left hip/glute area has felt weird since yesterday and today after the fartlek my left leg started hurting, close to the upper shin, but not on the bone. One thing I would like to note to myself is that I shouldn't be training to have a pretty training log, who gives a flying fuck if I hit over 100 or not. what really matters is that I can train at a consistently high level while healthy. so if I need to take a day off or go shorter tomorrow, I will. the obsessive part of me doesn't want to, but I'd rather be racing than be in a boot.
