Daily Note

am- hip flexor is sore i will stretch

pm- ran a northsider with jaime and will. I felt pretty good, and afterwards did plyos and hurdles. my hip flexor is still kind of sore, however, it didn't bother me on the run so it's just something I'll need to take care of and stretch. Found out from coach howarth today that I'm racing the 5K for sure and either the 3K (or mile) at conference. I'm honestly really pumped, I've been on a roll these past few weeks in everything. My goal for conference is to run a better 5K than I did at Grand Valley, so hopefully at least 10 seconds faster, but as long as I give myself a shot at scoring points, then I'll be fine with the result. I'm becoming the person I'm supposed to be, and the runner I've been saying that I can be all along. Overall, I feel great. I know that if I keep this up, and keep improving myself every day, that I'll be one of the best to have gone here.
