Got pretty pissed off pretty quick on this workout. Was the 300-200-100 workout that byv, primo, and I hammered last year. Have been joking about it with byv for a while but I think we both went into the workout planning to just do it without hammering- obviously an easy one to hammer, just no point in doing so. Wanted some mile pace stuff without taking too much out of me. Also talked with phil before and decided only 3 sets, just something to spin the legs without tiring them out before thursday.

Reason I got pissed was we went out hard, faster than planned paced. That's fine, can be kinda hard to pace these. But a certain tall senior decided to pass me 100 meters into the very first rep, even though it was 15/16 seconds. It was just a total dick move. And it kept happening. Shit like that kept going on the entire workout. Paces were always fast, and I think a big reason is he was always sitting right on the shoulder of whoever was leading or trying to out kick them. The workout was just a way to see who had the biggest dick. Really pissed me off, that's no way to treat a teammate.

We had all agreed to run 48/32 and I was consistently hitting these while getting dropped by everyone else.

Probably shouldn't be butthurt over this but it really did piss me off. I think I really wanted to run a workout with a big group since I've been working out solo all year, but seeing a guy pull shit like this off makes me glad I'm always working out alone. I shouldn't have been getting dropped running 48s. Splits btw were 48/50/48, 31/31/31. First 300 is deceiving, came through in 31 at 200 and jogged it in basically.
