Daily Note

8am: Easy 4 miles on the course of course. Hamstrings a little tight. Felt really good.

pm: 3 warm up on burner, 6x800, 3 cool down on turf and back to skog. Workout with aids.

Workout was fine. Felt really good. Goal pace was 10k pace, so we decided on about 2:40. Hit 2:39, 40, 39, 37, 38, 38 I think. So average of 2:38-39. Stomach was off going into it and got much worse. For the last two or three reps I skipped the 400 recovery and just hopped in the port-a-potty. Never improved. Was gonna do 8 but was tired of feeling like shit so cut it. Physically I felt great and really wanted to keep going, but stomach didn't want to. Hung around for a few minutes and let stomach settle before turf cool down w/ crispy.

A little bummed about this, would've liked to have a good one today. Oh well, two tempo style workouts later this week so it's no big deal that I didn't finish. Had a great workout saturday so just gotta ride that momentum. Looking forward to hamline.
