Daily Note

Had a planned shakeout this morning for workout in the evening but we did two hikes in Auckland so skipped it. Got about 10.5 hrs of sleep last night, feeling good

Around 7pm Chris and I ubered over to a real track about 4 miles away. We wanted to do one real track workout before coming home, as all we've done are the grass track and then the 200s in wellington, so we wanted to do a longer workout on a real track. Right into the warmup I didn't feel great, it'd been a pretty long day around Auckland so I wasn't feeling super fresh. Hit the k in 3:06 and the 8s in 2:29, the 72s on all the 4s. Focus was just to stay relaxed and hit splits, not to over work myself since I was already run down. Got the work in. Nothing special, just a solid workout in the bank. Cooled down and then jogged over to mcdons for a most excellent post workout meal.
