Ran the Rudolph run with the fam. Somehow even managed to rope California surfer bum bro into running. Felt pretty crummy all week so did not have high expectations but was excited for the family event. Bros sprinted from the line, CA dude dropping a 5:35 first mile after toxicating his body and not running for a year lol. Trailed the two of them with 5:41, and ended up feeling pretty good. Finished in 18:06 and got the W. Littlest bro got me by 3 seconds and CA dude rolled in with an impressive 19:50. Super fun morning and so happy to have the fam all together. Really didn't feel like I pushed too hard, so makes me excited for track. Lovely day at a wedding to follow.
