Daily Note

AM: Doing my Saturday today. Ran with Scottie and Tuck and Lara for the first 15 minutes. Headed up to Hickory Nut trail again. Rest of the group was intimidated by possible hilliness and stuck with the classic road, but glad we went for it. Rolling hills (760 ft elevation gain), but much more downhill on the way out than the way back which was a bit unfortunate. Beautiful trail, lots of winding, lots of cricks and creeks and streams (all different things we decided). First mile easy, and then hung around 7 min pace for the rest of the run. Legs pretty pooped.
PM: Pleasant 4 mile hike -> 2 30 sec ice baths in the freezing river -> double with Tucker, Prat, and Joe. First mile felt like we were sprinting and we hit an 8:10. Felt SIGNIFICANTLY better on the way back. Over 20 miles on the legs for the day (that started at 11)...big recovery day coming tomorrow.
