Was more worked up for this race than normal. Fun mall parking lot shakeout featuring an entertaining billboard and a glimpse into Stiles' competitive nature as he told us about his big tent purchase that one-upped the other coach's. Very un-ideal course conditions. Very poor choice on my part to wear new socks :( First half of the race felt pretty strong, just kinda slow. Legs got oddly super cold and mile 3 and kinda locked up. Would've liked to finished much stronger. Clearly not a day for time, but was still a bit disappointed. Super proud of the team as a whole though. Lots of incredible performances and so much depth.
