Daily Note

2 mi WU plus 2 strides

5x1k with 3min rest between -- we walked so we did not count it as part of our mileage --- 4:11/4:07/4:11/4:09/4:10 - these felt really good --- I was told to aim for 4:15-4:20 and didn't this I'd be able to do it earlier today but I felt like I could've kept going for a few more at the same pace -- legs felt pretty good the whole time - hip started to get tight the last one and the 400-600 part of the last 2 reps was a little hard but I was able to maintain pace and have a really strong workout

2.7 mi CD to get to 8 for the day since Em and I have to at some point this week anyway so might as well do it now

* really happy with this workout and extra excited to race next week -- I finally feel like the work I put in this summer is paying off and it feels great :)
