Daily Note

2 mi WU and some strides when we got back

12x400 w 200 recovery - splits for the 400s were 89, 93, 92, 94, 94, 98, 100, 97, 98, 97, 97, 99 -- I wanted to hit 90-93s the whole workout but my legs felt tired after 4 of the 400s - I am happy that I was able to "recover" from the 100 and get myself back onto the 97 pace and I felt a lot better (basically everything except still felt the weird "my legs can't move" thing enough to not be able to get back down to 93ish) after I did stop myself from getting any slower but I still wish I could've done better -- hoping this is mostly from being tired from the 3K this past Saturday bc my legs just felt like they couldn't go any more but I didn't feel awful during the workout -- I also feel a lot stronger mentally compared to cross so I'm hoping that helps on Saturday so I can reach my goal time for the 5K and really run how I'm capable of running

1.5 mi CD to get to 8 for the day - it was raining a lot more when we started and switched to snow halfway through
