someone should prohibit me from thinking on the indoor track, because during iglois i was hit with yet another reality check. something about the indoor track always hits me with a sense of impermanence. It's perhaps one of the only luxuries I don't take from granted here at Allegheny. There's something about a neat little loop, the only one I've ever had access to, and the four year time limit I have to use it. Looking out over all the buildings and commenting on how as of now they all belong to me also never helps, because in one year from today, and from yesterday, and from all days to come after, I will no longer be able to use them and will have no business inside of them again.
