Im a huge fan of the out and back on this trail. For whatever reason it just soaks up mileage like no ones business. Perhaps its the variety of different sceneries. Ran out for what felt like 15 mins but was really 35. Encountered Ev looking as studly as ever running in the opposite direction. Unfortunately the way back wasnt all fun and games. Heat exhaustion hit me like a truck and I jig jogged my way back to leahs. Luckily she was biking along next to me and had a water bottle. I was an idiot for running at the hottest part of the day but that was the only time I had. Luckily im getting back into the morning routine with the work week coming up.
