Am: Ran early today and got my core in after. Feels good to get that stuff out of the way before my 9am class starts. Pm: Did a 6 mile threshold on the SML, felt good; 2 mile wu, 2 mile cd with 6 striders after the cooldown. Eased into threshold fairly well, took my time when going up the hill after sixty steps, triple threat felt a little tricky today but I just sped up on the downhill and held onto an easier pace uphill. Condo hills still felt like the most difficult part, but it's just a matter of hanging on at that point. Splits were 5:54, 6:06: 5:53, 5:48, 5:39, and 5:42. Might need to reevaluate where each mile split is on the route because I split all the miles manually, and for the last two splits they came up in the low 5:30's and I was like "there's no way I did that". Either way felt like I did a nice threshold. The striders felt good after, might keep doing that after the thresh so I can remain fresh the next day.
