Daily Note

Am: core in the morning
Pm: 20 min warm up, 200m, prefontaine workout and 3 mile cooldown. Went to the track today with Bryan Forino, who did his own 600m workout. They finally decided to lock the gate but luckily there's a different entrance at the side which was still accessible. Got a 200m warm up in at 31.07, legs felt great and got right into the workout. Splits were 30.12, 39.55, 31.00, 40.8, 32.48, 40.53, 32.99, and 40.55 for 4:47.3. Felt good for the first 800, managed to get the fast 200's semi-consistent then I just held on for dear life on the last lap. I was kind of trying to stick with taking it very easy for the first 100m of the 40's then speeding through the last stretch to get 40's every time. Felt a little nauseous after that, took maybe a 15 min break instead of ten, tried to decide if I wanted to attempt a 400 but I just wasn't having it, so I cut it there. Sometimes you need to know when to cut out even when your mind is fully invested with going all in, I want to maintain a good groove for the few weeks I have left of good workouts. Felt a little better after a slow cool down.
