Daily Note

96 minute recovery run, 4 strides, hips + hurdles, core, roll, stretch

For once in this track season I did a long run that was the most recovery pace it has been in a while. The average pace was 6:35 which is still faster, but it felt so much easier because the first half was all 6:50 pace. Normally my long runs are 6:00 pace because I get bored, but I made sure to keep chill. I was gonna do my 15 mile loop, but I decided to just go out and back. I only got 14 ish today but I don’t think it matters too much because it will still end up being a 75 mile week. Upper left calf started to hurt during my strides, I’m not sure what it is but rolling calmed it down a little bit. I’ll keep an eye on it. Overall really good week.
