Daily Note

15 minute warm up, hips + drills, 23 minute tempo, 4x200 @ 800 pace, 10 minute cool down, plyos, roll, stretch

Workout was pretty good. I got up at 8 to run before online zooms so I didn’t have to do the workout after, especially because I have a double run with lifting after. Workout went well though, definitely got out too hard in the tempo but I recovered fine and held a consistent 5:20 pace after running a 5:11 first mile. Legs felt pretty gross after the tempo, but breathing did not feel hard at all which was the annoying part because it was my legs that were the problems. the 200's felt fine too, nothing special. Double run was fantastic, legs felt really good, it was almost like it was a recovery run to the workout. Lifting was good too, I lifted weights for the first time in a while and felt pretty good about. Gonna lift weights two times a week and do minis on fridays/saturdays. Overall great day.
