Daily Note

12 minute warm up, hips + drills + hot lap, 3 mile tempo, 1 mile VO2, 10 minute cool down, mini circuit, core, stretch, roll

Workout was actually really good. The race/not a race was really really easy. Like a 7 difficulty. I tried very very hard to keep Samir, Owen, and Luke with me through 2 miles. But we got to 1.5 and then it fell apart. I went back a couple of times to try and bring them up but at about two miles I just said well that won’t work so I just ran with the other guys. Once we got to the track some Metea kid took the lead and I was like ok, I am winning now. So I surged up, took the lead and ran away with it, very easy. Literally the easiest 15:50 of my life, didn’t even have to work for it. For the mile all out afterwards that was very easy. I should have run much faster. I ran a 4:48 which isn’t bad but, I could hold 4:48 for two miles easily.
