Daily Note

Today I was the rabbit for a couple people trying to go under 5:10. I think I did a decent job, but wasn't as reliable as I would've hoped. On lap one I took them out in a 76, followed by a 78 so we came through at 2:34. Lap 3 was the slowest because it was around 80. On lap 3, I honestly got tired and had trouble remembering the pace because my body was pushing harder to run the same time. Greco pulled up on my hip on the backstretch and that flustered me a bit too. On the homestretch, I made my way into lane 2 and let them go. I noticed that they were maybe a second behind me and pace, so it was going to be a struggle to the finish. At 1200m I was around 3:54, which is 5:12 pace, but I slowed down a bit after dipping into lane 2. They finished strong and a bunch of people ran really well today. Shoutout to Cole, Eric, Kraemer and Joe for some really good races.
