decent workout this morning. wasn't too chilly relatively speaking and got into the tempo nicely. went for an out and back. the first mile was 5:47 which was pretty good but 6:09 for the next- i think it was partially due to the hills which was unexpected. looped back to hit the pace at low 5:40's then to 5:30 which ended nicely. goal pace was 5:43 for marathon pace and averaged 5:48 pace. a little higher than i wanted but rather have is a little slower than much faster. hills went pretty well. good stretch afterwards.
